Job Details

Context and Environment

• The Job holder will deliver professional HSSE support services and assistance to Operations teams during maintenance campaign, covering both onshore & offshore locations.

• The job holder should ensure TotalEnergies EP (TEP) standards and local regulations related to HSE issues are well implemented.

Activities

• Advise contractors and COMPANY personnel on the implementation of applicable TEP HSSE management system in compliance with local legislation and regulations.

• Conduct regular HSE inspection/audit to verify implementation status, identify anomalies and propose recommendations and mitigation plans

• Provide day to day support/advice on matters related to HSE management on project/campaign activities, incident reporting & investigation and hazard management processes.

• Develop a strong, trustful and effective working relationship with client operational teams & CONTRACTORS to coach, guide and influence in the delivery of excellence in HSE

• Ensuring adequate resources are allocated by CONTRACTORS to HSE and that resources deployed are competent to carry out assigned activities.

• Liaise closely with Operational Team Leader and project HSE Leader to identify potential project risk and establish associated mitigating measures for all activities including SIMOPS scenarios.

• Assure suitable HSE equipment are utilized on-site & check certificates and conformity on a regular basis.

• Monitoring contractor’s overall HSSE performance & propose improvement plans when required, by preparing recommendations to improve existing HSSE practices. Assist site supervision with their responsibilities by giving guidance when necessary.

• Take a pro-active role to ensure site inductions, tool box talks, and safety meetings are conducted at the required frequency with good quality.

• Provide input on the compilation of all HSE statistics, identify accident trends, recommend and initiate improvement plans to improve HSSE performance, where required.

• Assist in emergency response exercises and drills, provide recommendations, and following up on action items.

• Lead and/or participate in incident investigations & root cause analyses to determine causes and preventative measures.

• Monitoring safety and security systems for offshore location in Caspian sea. Assure safe access in adverse conditions to critical safety and security assets/systems.

• Participates and organizes periodical meeting to discuss site HSSE performance with client operation/project team and contractors

• Ensure all activities performed during the shutdown campaign are with full respect of Client’s Golden Rules.

• Comply with all policies, standards, and procedures to ensure activities are carried out in a safe and controlled manner.

• Demonstrate excellent commitment to safety leadership and promote continuous improvement of health, safety and environmental awareness in the work environment

• Actively contributes to improving performance by promoting risk management as an integral part of project activities.

Qualifications / Experience Required

Qualification:

• University degree (Bachelor level and higher) in science or engineering.

• NEBOSH IGC Certificate.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years proven experience within Oil & Gas industry.

• Experience of implementing & monitoring HSE management system.

• Experienced in incident investigation (TapRooT methodology preferable) & root cause analysis.

• Knowledge of OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards.

• Good Knowledge on local regulations & requirements.

Competencies:

• Fluent in English, Azeri and Russian languages, both written and spoken.

• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Packages).

• Proactive, problem solver, good analytical skills

• Team Player, Communication skills and ability to manage conflict
