Audit Associate-Repost Full-time Job

KPMG Azerbaijan is looking for talented professionals to join our Audit department as an Associate. As an Audit Associate, you will be an integral part of our team, working on diverse client engagements and contributing to the delivery of high-quality audit services. Role and Responsibilities: • Perform audit procedures under the supervision of senior team members, including testing internal controls and substantive testing of account balances. • Assist in planning and executing audit engagements in accordance with auditing standards and KPMG methodologies. • Document audit findings and prepare audit reports. • Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve audit-related issues. • Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to senior team members. • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and footnotes. • Stay up-to-date on accounting and auditing standards and regulations. • Contribute to a positive team environment and work collaboratively with team members. • Assist in training and mentoring junior team members. • Participate in client meetings and presentations. Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 0-2 years of experience in auditing or accounting. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Fluency in English and Azerbaijani languages. • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
