We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Hyatt Regency Baku.
As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and other members of the culinary team to create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee a specific section of the kitchen
• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and standards
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are consistently high
• Train and supervise junior chefs and kitchen staff
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Collaborate with the Sous Chef to develop new menu items and specials
• Assist with menu planning and costing
• Ensure efficient and smooth operation of the kitchen
• Handle guest inquiries and special requests
• Provide excellent customer service
• Be a role model for the team
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification
• Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Proficiency in English and Azerbaijani languages
