Senior Brand Manager OTC (M/F)

We’re looking for a Brand Manager to drive the overall product success. As the single point of contact for OTC products you’ll act as both market navigator and change driver to take the OTC portfolio to the next level.
You will be responsible for:
• Managing and executing brand growth and maximizing return on investment (ROI).
• Working alongside other members of the Marketing Department, in areas of new product development, market trends, market intelligence, advertising strategies, pricing and profitability
• Lead development, implementation and evaluation of marketing plans across core products, innovation/new products and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with regional teams, including project managers and communication specialists, to drive strategic alignment
• Managing and maintaining relationships with marketing agencies to ensure alignment to brand marketing plans
• Driving product strategy based on expert understanding of market trends and dynamics and competitive assessment
• Analyzing consumer and market data/ insights.
• Developing brand marketing plans, pricing strategies and other brand recommendations, supported by thorough situation assessment and understanding of stakeholder needs
• Developing close relationships and partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs)
• Effectively managing the marketing budget to achieve business objectives and drive efficiencies
• Achieving financial and market-share goals
• Be compliant with legal and HCC guidelines in the job.
Qualifications
• University degree, ideally in business administration or marketing.
• 5+ years’ work experience, including a strong OTC brand management background (preferably gained within the Pharma or Consumer healthcare industries).
• Strategic agility – demonstrated ability to set and lead a clear and compelling marketing strategy and plans.
• High sense of ownership – demonstrated entrepreneurial behaviours, proactivity, agility, results orientation.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with strong leadership ability to persuade/influence without authority; ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing cross-functional teams and marketing partners.
• Experience working cross functionally
• Strong commercial experience and business acumen including:
Budget/ P&L ownership experience including A&P oversight and trade spend decisions
Pricing decisions
Working closely with sales teams in developing and executing sales initiatives.
Forecasting accuracy
Understanding and application of consumer and marketplace insights
• Ability to think analytically (linking business objectives, competitive landscape, financial analysis) to successfully drive key projects/initiatives (e.g. launch/re-launches, category development).
• Experience working in multi-cultural/ multi-country environment and on regional responsibilities.
• Ability to influence and develop key stakeholder relationships
• Language: Fluent English and Spanish (oral and written).
