The Pharmacy Technician Trainee position is the entry point to a rewarding career as a Pharmacy Technician. The Pharmacy Technician Trainee position provides you with an opportunity to learn all aspects of retail pharmacy and be mentored by a certified Pharmacy Technician. You will learn about pharmacy workflow, inventory management, and most importantly how to provide compassionate care to our patients.

No previous pharmacy experience needed!

The Pharmacy Technician Trainee is a temporary position that can lead to a permanent position as a Pharmacy Technician upon successful completion of training and passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam. Duties:

* Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, you will assist in filling prescriptions, entering patient information, and maintaining inventory.

* You will learn about different medications and how they are used to treat various conditions.

* You will also learn about pharmacy law and ethics.

* You will be trained on CVS Health's pharmacy systems and procedures.

* You will be mentored by a certified Pharmacy Technician who will provide you with guidance and support.

CVS Health will pay the required fee for Pharmacy Technician Trainees to take the PTCB exam.
