Purpose of the Job

The primary function of this role is to deliver on assigned project-related activities on projects under the guidance of senior consulting resources within PSG Consult (Pty) Ltd.

Role Deliverables

Assist with projects, ensuring high quality and on-time completion to meet or exceed client expectations.

Prepare supporting materials for internal and external meetings/presentations.

Conduct data analysis using various analysis tools and techniques, including the interpretation of the outputs.

Conduct quantitative and qualitative research and analyses on various business and economic-related topics.

Interact professionally with colleagues and other stakeholders to provide and obtain required data and information.

Assist in project planning, execution, tracking and reporting.

Perform other relevant duties or special projects as required from time to time.

Comply with the Firm's policies and guidelines with respect to projects (where applicable).

Job Responsibilities

Requirements:

Skills and competencies:

Demonstrates an aptitude to successfully manage and complete work packages on engagements.

Excellent data collection and analysis skills.

Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with demonstrated evidence in communicating analysis/insights to relevant audience.

Highly numerate, detail oriented, with good logical reasoning.

Advanced MS office (excel, word, PowerPoint) skills.

Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.

Results driven and demonstrates tenacity, drive, initiative and self-motivation.

Comfortable with multi-tasking, problem solving and ability to manage work pressure and deadlines.

Flexibility to work overtime if necessary.

Languages: English, Afrikaans preferable

Qualifications and experience

B Com degree or equivalent qualification preferable

Minimum 1 years’ work experience in similar function (will be to advantage).

Advantageous working knowledge in Finance principles and financial planning, data analysis.
