RNs are responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering medications, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and educating patients and their families on health-related topics. They work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions.

Position Highlights

Provides nursing care services within the scope of the RN nursing license.

Supervises Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure the safe and effective delivery of patient care.

Assesses patients’ medical conditions, develops individualized care plans, and implements interventions to meet patients’ needs.

Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Monitors patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.

Educates patients and their families on health-related topics, including disease management, medication administration, and preventive care.

Collaborates with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.

Adheres to all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.

Participates in quality improvement initiatives and other activities to enhance the delivery of patient care.

RN Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and currently licensed as an RN in the state in which you will be working.

Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred, but not required.

Knowledge of regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.

Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Must be able to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
