Role Value:

The Senior HR Business Partner plays a vital role in the organisation by ensuring that HR strategy aligns with the overall business objectives. The role serves as the trusted consultant to stakeholders and the trusted change agents to drive organizational performance through effective HR activities, support business growth through various transformation, efficiency improvements and productivity strategies

Main Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development of the People and Culture strategies for the organisation based on an understanding of business needs and in alignment with the Global HR function; provide advice and solutions for their effective implementation.

Be a trusted partner by developing relationships across various business unit’s stakeholder levels. Act as single point of contact (SPOC) and advisor to the senior management of area/region of responsibility regarding all HR-related issues.

Advise leaders, coaching and guiding them with employee relationship management, conflict resolution, performance and compensation management, talent development and succession planning.

Work with business stakeholders to review organization design, provide insight, facilitate change and execute processes that lead to improved business outcomes. Support organizational reviews with the respective business area. Design new and implement processes and approaches, including employee consultation.

Actively monitor the current trends within the area of Human Resources; use this information to provide expert advice to clients.

Coordinate with HR Specialists and Shared Service providers on implementation and maintenance of HR solutions that meet stakeholder expectations (performance appraisal process, salary planning, development activities, and other related tasks).

Conduct research and gather insights, support strategic decision-making and propose improvements/initiatives, HR Policies & Procedures.

Deliver and maintain best practice HR Policy & Processes ensuring all advice and support is delivered consistently.

Assist to manage end-to-end operational excellence programs including change, communication and training efforts, monitor success criteria to ensure desired outcomes are achieved, and continuously optimize HR services delivery.

Drive compliance and ensure all activity meets the expected legal requirements and aligns with People policies, guidelines and relevant labour legislation.

Effectively utilize available data to analyze trends and develop insights to help drive informed decisions and proactive solutions for the business. Review data & analytics reports and derive business critical insights to improve team performance & efficiency. Manage complex HR data analytics that affect the business, identify actionable trends & make recommendations. Leverage and improve employee and management self-service to minimize administrative burdens and errors.

Oversee implementation and management of continuous improvement HR framework across team.

Manage, supervise, coach and develop performance of HR direct reports by providing technical support & directions.

Ensures team work and collaboration by setting priorities and managing own team resources to support overall success of assigned goals.

Other responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

BSc in Business Management, Human Resources or relevant discipline

Extensive work experience in HR Business Partner/HR Advisor function, in multi-national company

Knowledge and practical application of Azerbaijan’s Labor legislation is required

Ability to develop and maintain a strong business partnership/trusted advisor relationships

Expert knowledge in workforce planning and management, organisation transformation

Demonstrated experience leading and influencing change efforts. Excellent change management/program implementation and coaching/mentoring skills.

Experience on coaching, talent & succession planning management

Results-driven, high degree of initiative and creativity to facilitate desired results.

Effective negotiation skills with demonstrated analytical & problem solving skills.

Superior organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills both written and verbal ( Azerbaijani, English )

Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured situations and changing priorities

Computer literate: advanced level of MS Office suite, expert Excel skills (reporting & analytics). Competence on use of modern ERP tools ( preferably experience with SAP/Success Factors HRIS modules ).
