Legal Specialist Full-time Job

A confidential client based in Jordan is seeking a skilled legal specialist to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice and support on a variety of issues. The Legal Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, managing legal risks, and assisting in the resolution of legal disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal advice and guidance to the company's departments and management team.

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and legal documents.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including labor law, corporate law, and data protection laws.

Monitor legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Represent the company in legal proceedings and manage litigation cases.

Conduct legal research and analysis to support the company's operations.

Collaborate with external legal counsel and consultants as needed.

Keep up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations and provide training to employees as needed.

Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.

Provide support for intellectual property matters, including trademarks and patents.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in law from a reputable university; a Master's degree is an advantage.

Qualified lawyer with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Ability to interpret and apply legislation, regulations, and contractual provisions.

Understanding of complex contractual arrangements.

Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Proficient in legal research.

Strong negotiation skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic is a must.

Expertise in various legal fields.

Excellent command of IT packages and related software applications.
