Senior Teller Full-time Job

Role Summary:

The Senior Teller is responsible for providing efficient and accurate banking services to customers at the branch level. This role involves handling cash transactions, processing payments, and providing exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Process cash and check transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting bank products and services.

Maintain a balanced cash drawer and ensure adherence to cash handling procedures.

Assist in opening new accounts, processing account maintenance requests, and providing information on banking products and services.

Identify and report any suspicious or fraudulent activity to the appropriate authorities.

Assist with training and mentoring junior tellers.

Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Assist with branch opening and closing procedures.

Process wire transfers and other complex transactions.

Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.

Promote and sell bank products and services to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.

Assist with audits and compliance reviews.

Ensure the branch is clean, organized, and presentable.

Stay up-to-date on banking regulations and industry trends.
