Emergency Response Coordinator Full-time Job

Job Summary: The Emergency Response Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the IRC’s emergency response activities in Syria. This includes assessing needs, developing response plans, managing response teams, and ensuring the effective delivery of assistance to affected populations. The Coordinator will work closely with other IRC departments and partner organizations to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive response.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assess emergency needs and develop response plans

-Manage emergency response teams and activities

-Ensure the effective delivery of assistance to affected populations

-Coordinate with other IRC departments and partner organizations

-Represent the IRC in coordination meetings

-Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the emergency response

-Prepare reports on emergency response activities

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

-Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency response

-Strong coordination and management skills

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to work under pressure

-Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred
