Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough stakeholder analysis to understand the needs, challenges, and opportunities related to the insurance domain.

Gather and document detailed business requirements using various techniques such as interviews, workshops, surveys, and existing documentation.

Analyze and document existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Create clear and concise business requirements documents, use cases, user stories, process flows, and other artifacts to communicate requirements effectively.

Collaborate closely with solution architects, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the proposed solutions align with business requirements and deliver value.

Participate in solution design sessions to provide input and ensure that the design meets the identified business needs.

Develop and maintain traceability matrices to track requirements from inception to implementation, ensuring that all requirements are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaborate with testing teams to develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure that the implemented solution meets the defined requirements.

Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with business stakeholders to validate that the solution meets their needs and expectations.

Provide support to business stakeholders during the implementation phase, including training, documentation, and troubleshooting.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the insurance domain.

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the project team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Continuously improve business analysis processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 7-9 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on the insurance domain.

Proven track record of successfully gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements for insurance-related projects.

In-depth knowledge of insurance products, processes, and operations, including policy administration, claims management, underwriting, and reinsurance.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business problems and develop innovative solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proficiency in using business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modeling, use case development, and requirements management software.

Experience working in Agile and Waterfall project environments.

Professional certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent are a plus.
