Protection Delegate Full-time Job

The ICRC is looking for a Protection Delegate to be based in Syria. The Protection Delegate will be responsible for monitoring the humanitarian situation, identifying protection needs, and advocating for the rights of civilians affected by armed conflict.

Main Duties:

Monitors the humanitarian situation and identifies protection needs.

Conducts field visits to assess the needs of civilians affected by armed conflict.

Advocates for the rights of civilians with relevant authorities.

Develops and implements protection programs.

Liaises with other humanitarian organizations.

Prepares regular reports on the humanitarian situation.

Required Profile:

University degree in law, political science, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in humanitarian protection.

Experience working in conflict-affected areas preferred.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
