This is a 12-month fixed-term contract (temporary) position. We may offer a permanent role dependent on project needs and team capacity at the end of the 12-month period. Job Summary
As Process Improvement Expert in TSI, you will be responsible to support the Operational Excellence & PMO Team Leader and key process stakeholders within cross-functional, global, teams in supporting critical activities, from assessing the existing environment and generating data-driven insights that identify value levers, to testing and prototyping those changes, through training and operational roll-out.

Responsibilities
Project and team-based problem solving and process improvements; identify business areas for process and business improvements, collect data, evaluate root causes, document process maps and conduct value stream mapping for existing business process (AS-IS) and design and drive new innovative approaches (TO-BE) through improvements.
Engage global, cross-functional, stakeholders to generate buy-in on a variety of proposed solution options; design business cases to validate options from both the impact of proposed process redesigns as well as cost implications for each proposed change to be considered.
Ensure project results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, schedule and cost; and track actual performance against planned project goals; conduct cost/benefit analyses for project team.
Measure progress using established indicators and project reports.
Collect, organize, transform, validate and model data to generate insights related to potential projects and improvement needs. Effectively visualize the results into management reports, interactive dashboards, data mining models and written documentation.
Support the team to drive digital transformation of business activities, including, development and implementation of technologies in project implementation and process automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing.
Support training and operational roll-out activities related to continuous improvement projects and process enhancements.
Participate in meetings and deliver clear communications for stakeholders at all levels.
Adhere to all company and job-related policies, procedures, and practices.
Maintain knowledge in subject area. This includes but is not limited to, continuous improvement methodology, technology enablement and process mapping and design.
Lead specific strategic Operational Excellence and Project initiatives when required.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years experience with progressive responsibilities in areas like supply chain, lean / process improvement, and consulting.
Solid hands-on process improvement skills with the ability to work in both the theoretical/design capacity and execution capacity of a process engineer / process improvement engineer, ideally with international working experience
Working knowledge and/or certification with some of the following techniques, processes, or bodies of knowledge, especially in consulting / service delivery: Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, TQM, and Scrum
Strong Project Management experience including resource and task planning and communication
Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of others and develop strong relationships across an organization, at any level
Data orientation; capable of working independently and in a team on extracting/compiling and then visualizing relevant and valuable process/trend insights through commonly used statistical, flowcharting and modelling applications such as Tableau, Excel, Visio, MS Project, etc
Strong analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills; the ideal candidate should also have good training delivery and active listening skills, including working cross-culturally; capable of presenting clear and accurate findings to colleagues as well as Senior Leaders, both in-person and remotely, ideally with experience using popular platforms like MS Teams and Webex
Ability to organize and present project findings with the aid of the Microsoft office software packages.
Knowledge of cloud technologies, business software, and project-related software/platforms
Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor degree (Masters preferred) in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Bio-Engineering, and/or comparable years of equivalent on-the-job work experience; MBA considered valuable as well
Previous life science GMP-regulated consulting and auditing experience are extremely helpful
Previous global and regional responsibility
Advanced working knowledge of current pharmaceutical regulations (FDA, EU, WHO)
