Planning Manager Full-time Job

As a Planning Manager, you'll play a crucial role in leading the planning, scheduling, and reporting functions for a complex project in Iraq. You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain project plans and schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software.

Lead and mentor a team of planners, providing guidance and support.

Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks.

Prepare regular project reports, including critical path analysis and earned value management.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment.

Implement and maintain project control procedures and processes.

Analyze project performance data and provide recommendations for improvement.

Participate in project meetings and contribute to decision-making.

Manage a small team, offering coaching and technical guidance.

Manage projects and ensure the company delivers results in line with project and business expectations.

Build up strong working relationships and good communication channels with clients, relevant internal departments and external subcontractors to ensure projects objectives are achieved.

Identify commercial and contractual risks early and support commercial team in developing mitigation strategies

Manage day to day cost control on specific projects in accordance with procedures including; reporting against budget and identification of opportunities to deliver enhanced value.
