Role: Finance Analyst Location: Guatemala Reporting to: FP&A Manager Roles & Responsibilities: Planning Responsible for Budgeting/Forecasting support activities (Expense Planning and forecasting; CAPEX & Depreciation Planning). Assisting in annual plan creation and forecast, which includes data loading into consolidation tools Perform routine analysis, identify risk & opportunities. Understand business performance drivers & support analytical needs, using quantitative skills. Maintain planning model/tools integrity; ensure compliance with global guidelines. Execute various activities in line with the corporate calendar including Monthly rolling forecasts and Plan Financial Control, Reporting and Analysis Complete monthly BS Flux for the B/S assigned. Review B/S reconciliation prepared by others for correctness and clarity. Complete balance sheet reconciliations ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all items reported within the Balance Sheet. Maintain an effective control environment across activities and continuously strive to reduce complexity within existing processes. Ensures monthly books closure are in line with IFRS GAAP. Provide accurate analysis to key financial results, identify and explain business drivers vs. forecast, budget & prior year. Responsible for tracking/analyzing risks & opportunities. Collaborate across teams to analyze monthly spend against budget, explain variances, and find opportunities for savings. Understand and evaluate the performance trends, financial results, forecasts and recommend business opportunities. Additional Requirements Drive continues improvement activities in areas that can add value to Business / Financial process Support finance transformation and technology deployment activities as needed Continuously improves knowledge of IFRS and Business acumen Be actively involved in standardization of global processes Contribute to cross-functional initiatives Knowledge and skills requirements Accounting skills: Proficiency in accounting (IFRS). Sound knowledge of accounting concepts Systems knowledge: Demonstrated understanding and proficiency with software and applications, including ERP systems. Preferably SAP, Oracle and Hyperion Essbase/HFM. Demonstrated ability to manage data Analytical skills: Good quantitative and analytical skills. Able to analyze information quickly and accurately, problem-solving & critical thinking attitude Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills Soft Skills: Possess learning agility to learn on the job Competencies: Problem solving - able to analyze financial and quantitative data and interpret variances. Understanding financial and operational interactions. Communication - clear concise oral and written communication skills.
