Driver Full-time Job

Job Summary

The Driver will provide reliable and safe transportation for EGPAF staff and visitors, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and guidelines. This role involves vehicle maintenance, accurate record-keeping, and contributing to the efficient operation of the EGPAF Uganda program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Driving and Transportation:

Provide safe and reliable transportation for EGPAF staff, consultants, and visitors to various locations as directed.

Adhere to all traffic laws and EGPAF’s transportation policies and guidelines.

Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition at all times.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle usage, mileage, and maintenance.

Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or issues to the supervisor promptly.

Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment as needed.

Safety and Security:

Ensure the safety and security of passengers and the vehicle at all times.

Follow established security protocols and guidelines.

Report any security incidents or concerns to the supervisor immediately.

Maintain a valid driver’s license and ensure compliance with all driving regulations.

Administrative Support:

Assist with administrative tasks such as delivering documents, running errands, and providing support to other departments as needed.

Maintain accurate records of fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance expenses.

Assist with the procurement of vehicle-related supplies and services as needed.

Other Duties:

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the overall goals of EGPAF.
