Data Analyst- Entry Level Full-time Job

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

· Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain data systems.

· Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

· Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.

· Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

· Filter and “clean” data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems

· Work with management to prioritize business and information needs

· Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree.

· Fluent in English (written and verbal) for business communications

Preferred Qualifications:

· 1+ year related work experience as Data Analyst in any related function (Sales operations, product management, and strategic account management preferred.)

· Basic knowledge of data analysis principles and methods including statistics

· Basic computer literacy with Windows operating system and applications. Strong understanding and proven ability in Microsoft Excel.

· Demonstrated organizational skills including attention to detail, multitasking and workload prioritization.

· Problem solving skills including mathematical aptitude and deductive reasoning.

· Proficiency with Data Visualization tools, especially Tableau or Power BI

· Intermediate knowledge of statistical analysis, business process analysis, management reporting or customer relationship management data elements is a plus.
