With a robust pipeline of solar, wind, and storage projects, they are shaping the future of sustainable power generation across the region.Role OverviewAs Chief Technical Officer (CTO), you will be the technical visionary and strategic leader responsible for overseeing all engineering and technical aspects of project development, construction, and operations. You will ensure the highest standards of innovation, efficiency, and compliance while guiding the company’s technical roadmap.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Define and execute the technical strategy aligned with corporate goals and Japan’s renewable energy regulations.Project Oversight: Lead engineering teams through feasibility studies, design, construction, and commissioning of renewable energy projects.Innovation & Technology: Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies to optimize performance and reduce costs.Risk Management: Ensure technical compliance, quality assurance, and risk mitigation across all projects.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, investors, and external partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing technical team to support growth and innovation.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy preferred).15+ years in the energy sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Proven track record in renewable energy project development and execution in Japan or APAC.Strong knowledge of Japanese energy regulations and grid connection requirements.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Fluency in English; Japanese language proficiency is highly desirable.
