Job Purpose:Responsible for overseeing the engineering design and execution carried out by the EPC Contractor and its Sub-contractors, ensuring the quality of the design meets project milestones and budget. The role involves leading and coordinating project activities between the EPC and Project Management Teams to ensure detailed design deliverables are executed on schedule to support procurement, construction, and commissioning. This position also drives the Contractor's performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensures that all engineering deliverables are integrated with other project groups to support overall project execution.Job Accountabilities:Lead and coordinate EPC contractor activities to meet project milestones and budgets.Oversee project management functions such as schedule control, risk monitoring, fabrication tracking, erection progress, and early issue resolution.Support Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution.Track performance through KPIs, report progress in weekly and monthly Delivery Reports, and initiate early interventions when deviations occur.Understand cross-discipline impacts to make informed project management decisions and communicate key risks to management.Promote and enforce the Project Safety Program, ensuring all work is conducted safely and in compliance with company policies.

Lead by example in fostering a strong safety culture.Manage design changes through proper documentation, justification, and risk assessment.Evaluate and participate in vendor inspections, fabrication yard visits, and equipment testing to ensure compliance with quality, schedule, and safety standards.Provide leadership and facilitate decision-making among multiple disciplines and stakeholder groups to maintain project progress and alignment.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry with a strong background in detailed engineering management of Major Oil & Gas Projects, preferably experience on a major LNG project including 1 year experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of contractor/sub-contractors/service/vendor personnel.Experience with engineering leadership, leading multi-discipline activities and well versed in design safety aspects of engineeringExperience with risk assessment approach to decision makingExperience with LNG facilitiesExperience with large process units’ designExperience working with major EPC Contractors in a Lump Sum environmentDemonstrates sound written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead and communicate at all organizational levelsDemonstrate ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgroundsField engineering experience is desirableTechnical background as a discipline engineer and experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer.Good teamwork and facilitation skills.Good analytical, organisational and problem-solving skillsRisk management experience
