The MMI Investment Internship Programme aims to provide qualifying candidates with a valuable workplace learning experience through graduate work exposure that will enhance their skills and increase their chances of future employment opportunities.
The duration of the Internship programme is 12 months, fixed term contract.
The intern will gain exposure to, inter alia:
Performing quantitative and qualitative investment research.
Financial modelling.
Industry and company analysis.
Portfolio monitoring.
Presenting recommendations.
Developing relationships with investment professionals.
Monitoring economic, market and political developments.
Investment writing.
Adhering to policies and processes.
Assisting senior colleagues as requested.

Requirements
Applicants must:
Be a South African citizen.
Must be available to commence work by February 2025.
Must not be permanently employed at the time of application.
Must not have participated in any other Internship programme previously.
Preference will be given to designated groups (BEE candidates)
Educational Requirements
The candidate must have at least an Undergraduate (NQF level 7) Degree in: - Financial Analysis, Economics, Finance, Investment Management, Business Science.
The following degrees would be an advantage: Quantitative discipline (i.e., BSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or similar.) or Honours degree.
The degree must be completed.
Minimum average of 60% across all subjects would be an advantage.
