Crewed Yacht Manager Full-time Job

Position overview An exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of our crewed yacht program, which is experiencing a high demand and exciting growth. Our Crewed Yacht offering is Dream Yacht Groups most high end product, on the largest yachts in our fleet with dedicated crew to provide a luxurious service but being able to adapt to each customer's needs. A proven track record delivering a consistently excellent level of customer service with a hands-on approach, you must be a people person, experienced with managing, and have a solutions-focused approach together with excellent organisational and time management skills. You must have the ability to put in place and follow processes to ensure a consistent standard is delivered. You will be based in the Virgin Islands, but managing boats between the Caribbean and Bahamas. You will report to the Managing DIrector for the Americas.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and onboard new crew interview and placement

• Maintain and improve the crew handbook and guidelines

• Coordinate receiving and outfitting new yachts with owners to DYC standards

• Ensure crews are adhering to DYC policies/procedures at all time

• Monitor guest satisfaction and ensure standards are met

• Maintain and keep yacht listings up to date in reservations systems and sales platforms

• Support charter sales with questions/inquiries about yachts and crews

• Manage Crew Expenses and yacht’s budget before and after each charter and monthly

• Prepare detailed spending reports for owner accounting

• Coordinate routine and needed maintenance issues with Captain, vendors and DYC bases

• Work with Owner Care team to update owners on maintenance/warranty work

• Coordinate boat entry to the fleet and communicating progress to owners care and charter sales teams • Collaborate with yacht brokers supporting the sale of new yachts into the fleet Requirements

• Charter Yacht Industry experience is a must

• Proven track record of managing people

• Administrative and organisational skills Desired skills

• Hands on experience of the crewed yacht charter industry, and what goes into delivering a memorable charter.

• A passion for sailing and the islands.

• The ability to work under pressure

• Flexibility and availability to travel as needed

• The ability to organise and prioritise your tasks, at all times putting the interests of guests and the boat owners as your priority

• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
