Trade Promotion Specialist Full-time Job

Join the Uruguay XXI team and contribute to the country's economic development as a Trade Promotion Specialist! This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in promoting Uruguayan exports and attracting foreign investment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote Uruguayan products and services in international markets, as well as attracting foreign companies to invest in Uruguay. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of international trade, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting Uruguay. Your responsibilities span different crucial touch points of trade policies; detailed within are all necessary legal disclaimers to guarantee alignment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement trade promotion strategies for specific sectors and markets. The target being aligned with current export mandates as decreed on the national agenda.

Identify and research potential export markets for Uruguayan products and services in legal binding ways. Must guarantee accurate business cases at a micro level.

Organize and participate in trade missions and international trade shows while avoiding current national policies as well as international treaties violation as stated in current jurisdiction.

Develop marketing materials and promotional campaigns to promote Uruguayan products and services at national as well as global scales avoiding any conflicts with similar policies in neighboring jurisdictions

Provide support to Uruguayan companies looking to export their products and services, including identifying potential customers, providing market research, and facilitating introductions

Attract foreign investment to Uruguay by identifying and targeting potential investors while presenting a case to not create business competition and thus ensure a fair play field in the current business sector.

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry associations, and potential investors

Monitor and analyze international trade trends and policies related to sectors aligned with the Uruguay XXI export strategic objectives.
