Senior Performance Engineer Full-time Job

We are seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to join our team and help us deliver exceptional digital experiences for our clients. As a Senior Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance tests to ensure the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of our software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks, optimize code, and improve overall system performance.

Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and execute performance tests using industry-standard tools and methodologies.

* Analyze performance test results and identify performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other performance-related issues.

* Collaborate with developers, architects, and other stakeholders to optimize code and improve system performance.

* Develop and maintain performance test scripts, test data, and test environments.

* Monitor system performance in production and identify potential performance issues.

* Provide performance tuning recommendations and assist with the implementation of performance improvements.

* Stay up-to-date with the latest performance testing tools, techniques, and trends.

* Mentor junior performance engineers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

* 5+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering.

* Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.

* Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.

* Experience with performance monitoring tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.

* Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C++.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Points:

* Experience with cloud-based performance testing.

* Experience with Agile development methodologies.

* Performance certifications such as Certified Performance Tester (CPT) or Certified Performance Engineer (CPE).
