Overview

As the Salesforce Administrator you will:

Analyze business requirements by collaborating with end users and stakeholders, understanding their needs, and documenting those needs into system specifications that facilitate system configuration, updates, and modifications.

Administer, support, and improve Salesforce infrastructure, application, and processes.

Collaborate with team members and third-party vendors to create innovative business solutions to drive efficient work practices, support customer-centric business processes, and improve overall operational effectiveness.

Lead functional teams with solution designs.

Recommend Salesforce solutions based on technical best practices.

Create and maintain technical documentation to document solutions in alignment with IaaS standards.

Conduct regression testing to ensure seamless operations and minimize disruptions.

Implement security measures for data protection.

Perform release and change management processes.

Oversee training for staff and end users on new applications.

Create and implement best practices to ensure efficiency in data processing.

Develop business reports to ensure efficient business solutions and effective workflow within divisions.

Act as the Subject Matter Expert on new projects that touch the current system functionality; identify areas of opportunity and ensure system impacts are handled effectively and efficiently.

Proactively participate as a member of the project teams that introduce new solutions and applications across the City.

Oversee integration projects from conception to implementation, including but not limited to, project development and project plan implementation.

You must have:

University degree or diploma in Business Administration or Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience administering the Salesforce Service Cloud including designing solutions to implement new enhancements and supporting data governance/data quality best practices and standards.

Conditions of employment:

The Salesforce Administrator role requires a professional with an IT/Salesforce background that allows for an understanding of key requirements of the CRM in use. In addition, the employee in this position is to exercise tact and discretion, while dealing with co-workers or staff.
