Job Title: R&D Process EngineerLocation: Prachinburi, ThailandJob Type: Permanent, Full-time (On-site)Job Level: ManagerEducation: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related fields)Experience: Minimum 3 years of R&D experience in food packaging, pulp and paper technology, or related industriesResponsibilities:Research and develop new sustainable materials and products aligned with business goals in collaboration with Operations Manager and the HGS R&D team.Improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize profitability.Implement new process technologies for materials and products based on company expectations and operational guidelines.Initiate research into new techniques and materials to support the factory and the broader deSter product range, ensuring proper coordination with external suppliers and internal teams.Propose and manage new development and investment programs in cooperation with the Operations Manager, focusing on cost-saving initiatives.Lead projects with clear timeframes, deliverables, and targets.Qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Materials, Chemical, Industrial, or Automation Engineering).At least 3 years of R&D experience in the food packaging service industry, particularly in fiber processing, bagasse pulp, or biodegradable pulp technologies.Knowledge of different plastic and non-plastic materials.Proficiency in engineering and R&D processes, including testing with machines and molds.Additional skills in automation engineering and AutoCAD are advantageous.Strong project management, strategic planning, and leadership abilities.Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both oral and written.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
