We, as Çalık Enerji, offer the energy from nature to the people to build a better and sustainable future.Since its establishment in 1998, Çalık Enerji has become one of the world’s leading energy companies, bringing the energy of nature to the service of people through successful projects conducted across a wide geographic area encompassing CIS countries, the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa, Europe and the Balkans in order to create a better and sustainable future.We are currently seeking a "Quality Control Engineer (Civil) " to be assigned to our Tisza 1000 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Project in Hungary.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related disciplineMinimum 6–8 years of Civil Quality Control experience in large-scale industrial or power plant construction projectsDemonstrated experience working in European industrial construction environmentsStrong knowledge of civil construction QC standards, including:Concrete works, rebar installation, formworkStructural steel installationInfrastructure works, earthworks, foundationsCompliance with EN standards for civil worksFamiliarity with international and European codes (EN, ISO, relevant civil construction standards)Experience preparing and managing ITPs, method statements, inspection checklists, and civil QC documentationAbility to identify nonconformities and follow up corrective/preventive actionsExperience in coordinating with subcontractors, consultants, and third-party inspectorsStrong reporting, documentation, and communication skillsExcellent command of EnglishStrong preference for candidates with no visa/work permit limitations in Europe or HungaryProficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Job ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise all civil quality control activities on the project in alignment with EU and Hungarian regulationsReview civil drawings, specifications, method statements, and ensure compliance with project standardsPrepare, implement, and update Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for civil worksConduct inspections for foundations, concrete works, reinforcement, structural steel, infrastructure, and other civil activitiesSupport coordination of material approvals and civil construction submittalsMonitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to quality requirementsIdentify nonconformities, ensure documentation, and follow corrective/preventive actions to closureMaintain civil QC records, reports, and documentation for audits and client submissionsCoordinate with site engineering, construction teams, consultants, and client representativesSupport the implementation of the project’s Quality Management System and contribute to continuous improvementParticipate in internal and external quality meetings and provide regular updates to Project Management
