The company researches, develops and manufactures all products exclusively in-house.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Drive the conceptual design and development of medical device components and systems - from requirement definition through to prototyping and evaluationCreate CAD models, technical drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and test specificationsTake ownership of verification, validation, and the regulatory documentation related to mechanical assembliesSupport the industrialization process and ensure a smooth transition from development to productionAssist the procurement team in technical discussions with suppliersRequirementsDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Microtechnology, Mechatronics or a related fieldEnglish C1, German B2 and French B1First industry experience involving CAD design and drawing generation, ideally using CATIA & SolidWorksGood knowledge of materials and processes, especially metals and plastics used in micro-scale medical device applicationsExperience in sub-project management and supplier collaborationExperience in mechanical testing, including type approval, functional validation, and prototype evaluationExperience with coatings and adhesive bonding is a plusExperience with patient-applied accessories such as medical patches, passive electronic components, or electrodes is a plusWe are looking forward to hearing from you!Please note: Only candidates who are legally authorized to work in Switzerland (e.g., Swiss or EU/EFTA citizens, or holders of a valid Swiss work permit) can be considered for this position.BenefitsMeaningful work on products that save lives or effectively support patient therapyFlat hierarchies, genuinely interdisciplinary working groupsOpportunity to contribute ideas, have an active say and make decisionsPolicy for unsolicited applications from recruiters and recruitment agenciesWe do not accept any unsolicited applications from recruiters or recruitment agencies without a prior written agreement between both parties.
