Procurement Manager-Repost Full-time Job

A global manufacturing company is looking to hire a Procurement Manager to join their team in Osaka.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.

Identify and evaluate new suppliers.

Monitor supplier performance and address any issues.

Manage the procurement budget.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs.

Develop and maintain procurement reports.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of procurement best practices.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Fluent in Japanese and English.
