Job Purpose:

The Site Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and supervision on construction sites. This role involves ensuring that construction projects are completed according to plans and specifications, managing site activities, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Review construction plans and specifications.

Supervise construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans.

Provide technical support to the construction team.

Monitor site progress and report to the Construction Manager.

Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.

Prepare site reports and documentation.

Resolve technical issues and conflicts that arise on site.

Manage site resources and equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervise construction workers and subcontractors.

Provide guidance and training to site personnel.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.

Proven experience (minimum of 3 years) as a Site Engineer.

Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.

Working Conditions:

Work primarily on construction sites.

Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and construction site hazards.

May require extended hours and weekend work.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and climb on construction sites.

Manual dexterity required for using construction tools and equipment.

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.

Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
