Job Summary And RequirementsThis posting is to fill a full-time term position working 75 hours biweekly. It will also be used to fill auxiliary on call positions. It will establish a 12-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions.This position will be based in Whitehorse but will be required to provide coverage for shortages in communities as neededtravel to communities (up to 70% travel)This job is based in the thriving and diverse city of Whitehorse in the beautiful Yukon with travel to Yukon communitiesWho We AreThe Yukon's Emergency Medical Services (YEMS) team delivers a wide scope of pre-hospital care.

We deliver medical interventions, treatments, and quality care in every corner of the Yukon. Leadership, dedication, and partnership guides our work.Your role The incumbent will employ professional Primary Care Life Support skills to provide pre-hospital emergency and non-emergency medical treatment to the Yukon population. The PCP assesses patient condition in order to formulate a treatment plan and to initiate emergency interventions and non-emergency care to provide optimal patient wellbeing.
