About Us
Research in the School of Environmental and Conservation Sciences (ECS) focuses on solving real-world environmental problems and informing best-practice biodiversity conservation. Reflecting this focus, research is multi-disciplinary and collaborative, involving staff and external partners with a diversity of expertise. Collectively the School represents the bulk of environmental, ecological and conservation science-based research capacity at Murdoch University
The Role
The Postdoctoral Research Fellow is instrumental in advancing scholarly research and professional expertise. The role aligns with the School’s commitment to addressing real-world challenges and promoting best-practise biodiversity conservation. The fellow will contribute significantly to collaborative projects, mentor students, engage in high-quality research, and will play a vital role in fostering industry partnerships, all while contributing to the academic reputation of the School and the broader University.
What you’ll bring to this role
  • A PhD in ecology or other environmental science,
  • Demonstrated ability to work under broad direction, exercise initiative in undertaking responsibilities and work effectively in a team,
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in high quality independent research, with an established record of scholarly publications,
  • Demonstrated high level of written and oral communication skills in English.
