This role involves working closely with external payroll providers to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across multiple jurisdictions. The Payroll Officer will also oversee payroll audits, maintain payroll systems, and act as the main point of contact for payroll-related queries.Main ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end monthly payroll process for all employees across locations and maintaining relationship with payroll providers where necessary.Collect and verify data from HR (e.g., salaries, new joiners, terminations, bonuses, unpaid leave, overtime).Calculate statutory deductions (e.g. tax, social insurance) and company contributions.Prepare payslips and payment files for salary disbursement.Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely salary payments and journal entries.Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and social insurance requirements.Ensures payroll processes are administered in compliance with requirements, internal company policies and applicable country regulations.Submit required payroll filings to relevant authorities.Prepare payroll summaries, cost allocations, and reports for management and Finance.Maintain constant communication with HR to ensure timely updates of all payroll related changes.Work closely with Finance to support audits, reconciliations, and budget reporting.Keep clear records of payroll history, approvals, and any manual adjustments.Maintain up-to-date payroll data in payroll systems.Track leave balances, unpaid absences, and other time-off that impacts payroll.Manage payroll documentation and ensure confidentiality of all salary-related information.Address employee payroll-related queries professionally and confidentially.Assist with preparation of documents such as salary certificates or income statements when needed.RequirementsDegree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience as a Payroll Officer or in a similar role (experience in the Forex industry will be considered an advantage).Excellent command of English and Greek (both written and spoken).In-depth knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal controls, and payroll taxes.Strong understanding of local tax, labour, and social insurance regulations.Experience managing payroll processes across multiple entities and international locations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software.Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Strong communication and coordination skills for cross-department collaboration.Experience working across multiple countries or jurisdictions will be considered an asset.Benefits24 working days annual leaveComprehensive Global Medical Insurance Plan, with coverage for the employee and their immediate family from day oneUdemy Business unlimited membershipCompany discount card with access to various goods and servicesCorporate events and team building activitiesProfessional and personal development opportunities in a fast-growing environment Libertex Europe is an equal opportunity employer, fostering an inclusive and diverse environment.
