Spirit of Outward Bound Hong Kong (Spirit) is a Challenge 67, round the world racing yacht, that has served OBHK for over 18 years, delivering inshore and offshore passages and providing a reliable platform for sail training.Job Description This offshore sailing expedition will see a youth crew from Hong Kong undertake an international return voyage from Hong Kong to Okinawa, Japan, and back. The program combines sail training, personal development, and international exchange, offering young people a transformative experience that builds resilience, teamwork, and seamanship in a challenging offshore environment.We are seeking a highly skilled Skipper to lead this international offshore return expedition from January to April 2026. The Skipper will hold overall responsibility for the safety, training, and welfare of youth participants, staff, and crew, while maintaining the vessel to offshore standards.The Skipper will deliver sail training, provide mentorship, and create a safe and supportive environment that allows young people to grow through challenge and adventure.
