Midwife Specialist Full-time Job

Under the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator, the Midwife Specialist provides technical support in SRHR within UNFPA Senegal, working collaboratively with implementing partners and national authorities to achieve project objectives. Key tasks include designing and delivering midwifery training, supporting quality assurance in maternal and newborn care, contributing to the development of relevant guidelines and protocols, providing expertise to address challenges in emergency obstetric care and actively participates in regional meetings and information exchange on global innovations. Accountabilities encompass effective contribution to improved maternity, safe pregnancy delivery, and overall enhanced women’s health services in assigned intervention zones.
