The ideal candidate combines creativity with strong technical expertise, leading teams to produce innovative, functional, and detail-oriented design solutions that reflect DTO’s commitment to excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign LeadershipLead the conceptualization, development, and execution of interior architectural designs from concept to completion.Translate client briefs into cohesive design narratives that align with brand and functional objectives.Oversee space planning, material selection, and detailed design documentation.Ensure design integrity and quality across all project phases.Project ManagementManage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors throughout all project stages.Review and approve drawings, renderings, and specifications before client submissions or site implementation.Conduct regular site visits to ensure design intent and detailing are executed accurately.Team Supervision & MentorshipProvide direction and mentorship to junior and associate designers.Review team outputs, providing constructive design and technical feedback.Foster a collaborative and innovative design culture within the studio.Technical & DocumentationOversee production of detailed working drawings, joinery details, and schedules using Revit and AutoCAD.Ensure compliance with building codes, health and safety standards, and best design practices.Review and coordinate MEP layouts to ensure seamless integration with design intent.Client & Stakeholder EngagementPresent design concepts and technical solutions confidently to clients and stakeholders.Build and maintain long-term client relationships through effective communication and trust.Provide strategic design insights to enhance the value and functionality of spaces.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture.Minimum of 7–10 years of professional experience in interior design and architecture, with a strong portfolio of built work.Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.Strong knowledge of building systems, materials, detailing, and construction methods.Demonstrated experience managing design teams and client-facing responsibilities.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Preferred AttributesDeep appreciation for detail, precision, and craftsmanship.Ability to balance creativity with practicality and cost efficiency.Strategic thinker with the ability to problem-solve complex design challenges.Passionate about design innovation and sustainability.
