As a Junior Accounts Payable Specialist, you will have the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of activities related to Accounts Payable. This role will not only allow you to contribute to the department's operations in a compliant way, but also provide you with the chance to enhance your expertise and broaden your knowledge in this field.
Junior Accounts Payable Specialist
A day in the life of Junior Accounts Payable Specialist
- Preparation of incoming invoices for posting (liquidation) and scanning to Shared Service Center for Croatia and Slovenia
- Monitor Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt on weekly basis
- Preparation of Accounts Payable reports upon request
- Involvement in Parked workflow and Blocked workflow (support and resolution)
- Creation of internal web-forms, dummy invoices and down payment requests
- Monitoring of accurate postings from NBS based on defined sample of postings
- Participating in PEC/YEC related to Accounts Payable activities
- Participation in external and internal audit
- Participation in inventory count
- Activities related to Travel & Expenses (sending to Shared Service Center, supporting organization, archiving)
- Archiving activities in daily work related to incoming invoices (services)
- Ideally, you are a proactive person with strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- You showcase a willingness to learn and work in a team.
- You have a university degree in a relevant field (economics, accounting, etc.) and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- You have good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken.
- You are advanced user of MS Office package.
