To support this, we’re assembling a small team of freelance journalists who can help us produce insightful, technically accurate, and highly engaging content for the AEC community.Consense’s tools are built to eliminate the daily bottlenecks Revit users face: rigid schedules, messy data, Excel dependency, inconsistent deliverables, and the hours lost to manual formatting. Their brand stands for simplicity, structure, relief, and supportive innovation, and our goal at OMI Firm is to amplify that voice across the industry.We’re looking for journalists who can translate Revit headaches into compelling stories, user case studies, and thought-leadership content that will resonate with architects, BIM coordinators, contractors, and facility managers.What You’ll DoWrite articles, interviews, and editorial features centered around:Revit workflows, BIM coordination, and AEC technologyData challenges and solutions inside real project environmentsThe tension between “big tools” and “small tools” in design workflowsIndustry trends in digital construction, automation, and productivityCustomer stories and practical wins using tools like Consense’s pluginsConduct interviews with architects, BIM leads, and Revit power users.Craft content for publication on LinkedIn, blogs, newsletters, and external AEC platforms.Work closely with OMI Firm’s marketing strategy team to maintain brand tone, clarity, and narrative cohesion.Help build an early community of niche Revit professionals who engage with, share, and learn from our content.What We’re Looking ForPrior writing experience in architecture, engineering, construction, BIM, design technology, or SaaS.Ability to communicate technical topics with clarity, precision, and approachability.Comfortable writing both long-form articles and short-form, platform-native content.Strong interviewing skills and the ability to extract insights from busy professionals.A tone that matches Consense’s personality: supportive, stable, insightful, and technically grounded.Reliability, craft, and professional communication.Nice to HaveFamiliarity with Autodesk Revit, BIM processes, or AEC workflow challenges.Existing relationships with architects, BIM specialists, or construction tech professionals.Experience creating SEO-aligned or industry-specific articles.Understanding of data-driven design, project documentation workflows, or plugin ecosystems.Why Work With OMI FirmYou’ll collaborate directly with a senior marketing strategist (me) and be part of a long-term content ecosystem.Your work will shape how Consense — a high-potential, creator-archetype brand — is perceived by early adopters in the AEC world.Flexible, remote, project-based assignments with consistent opportunities.Room to grow into deeper storytelling, campaign-support, or editorial strategy roles.
