Introduction

Software Consultants at IBM are essential to our clients as they work directly with our clients to provide innovative business consulting, deliver value by finding real problems, and craft advanced solutions. As a consultant, you will build deep relationships that enable IBM to provide advice and integrated solutions to drive client digital transformation.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Entry Level Consultant, who can demonstrate the ability to provide professional consulting support using proven project management methods and practices.

Entry Level Consultant should be experienced in creating structured plans and tracking project progress.

The person can be involved in establishing project-specific objectives and managing tasks and schedules for individual tasks and provide professional services to solve customer's needs.

The person also ensures delivered solutions meet outlined quality standards.

Additional responsibilities include:

Understand client needs, translate them into actionable projects, and deliver functional solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.

Provide continuous support during implementations, including the preparation of solution documentation.

Present recommendations and project results to the leadership team in a clear and concise manner.

Be responsible for end-to-end support of different client solution roll-outs.

Communicate any updates/suggestions for improvements in process and efficiency to Team Lead/SME.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

Proven experience working independently and as a valuable member of a team

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective organizational skills.

Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.

Knowledge and hands on Experience with project management methods, frameworks and processes. Understand project needs, translate them into actionable tasks, and deliver solutions to our clients with professional consulting approach.

Provide assistance to more experienced consultants to deliver solution.

Able to collaborate effectively with all level of stakeholders

Must be willing to travel up to 50% or more

Ability to speak and write in English fluently

Consulting skills, understanding of consulting methods and practices, ability to engage and assist
