YOUR TEAM
You would be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where experts in engineering, robotics and medicine collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out common research.
The Rehab Technologies Lab (https://rehab.iit.it/it/) is coordinated by Matteo Laffranchi, who has extensive experience in the development of innovative high-tech robotic solutions for patients with physical impairment.
Within the team, your main responsibilities will be:
Electromechanical assembly and integration of robotic devices and setups, with tests to verify functionality and reliability.
Soldering/cabling/manual operations on electrical macro and micro components
Use/Setting/Maintenance of 3D printers
Work together with the other technicians and members of the team
Maintenance of the Rehab workshop good status.
Purchasing operations, according to IIT procedure, for the needed workshop tools.
This open position is financed by the Ministry of Health within the Proof of Concept of Hybrid robotics for gait Rehabilitation of persons post-stroke project (PNRR-POC-2022-12375689 “Proof of Concept of Hybrid robotics for gait Rehabilitation of persons post-stroke (PoCH-Rehab)”, CUP J53C22004570007, admitted to funding by the Ministry of Health for the implementation of Investment 2.1 - Enhancement and strengthening of biomedical research in the NHS” within the scope of Mission 6 "Health", Component C2 "of the Plan National Recovery and Resilience).
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU SHINE
A technical Diploma with electrical background
Documented experience in electromechanical assembly operations (mechanism assembly and cabling of complex mechatronic devices)
Practical electronics skills (soldering, cabling, building prototypes)
Good knowledge of the English language
Familiarity with the main IT software packages, including Word and Excel
A cooperative approach with the stakeholders
Accuracy and good analytical skills
Good interpersonal and communications skills and willingness to integrate into an international research team.
