Data Analysis Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Modeling:

Develop and implement data models and perform data analysis using a wide range of software to include databases such as Oracle, SAP HANA, Mongo DB; structured query language (SQL); NoSQL; modeling and simulation software to support advanced decision support, forecasting, artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), optimization/heuristic search algorithms, data analysis and other analytical purposes, including tools like Python and R.

Analyze complex data sets, often involving large datasets with missing, inconsistent, or unreliable data points, and apply data cleansing techniques to address errors, inconsistencies, and redundancies to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Perform ad-hoc data analysis to answer immediate questions or resolve specific issues, providing insights and recommendations based on findings.

Develop data visualizations and reports to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, including charts, graphs, dashboards, and interactive tools.

Develop scripts and implement automation techniques using R and/or Python to streamline processes and enhance data manipulation.

Evaluate various analysis, modeling, and simulation strategies and develop prototypes that can transition to production and provide repeatable results.

Collaboration & Innovation:

Proactively collaborates within project team on approach, data extraction needs, data quality expectations, modeling outputs, risk identification and other project elements to successfully meet product needs and end state objectives.

Provide subject matter expertise to assist with evaluating different analytics or optimization strategies for inclusion into product offerings.

Identify opportunities for data integration, standardization, and enhancement to improve data quality, accessibility, and usability.

Design analytical data workflows/data engineering pipelines.

Apply expertise to drive end-to-end project requirements based on current needs and translate to clear process/data flows. Identify and manage requirements of supporting elements and integrate for cohesive final solution

Documentation & Communication:

Document data processes, data flows, data models, and analytical methods using documentation techniques. Develop high quality analytical reports in clear language with associated assumptions and caveats.

Develop project communications including slide decks and demonstrations and tailor messaging and content to broad spectrum of audiences with differing levels of subject matter expertise

Train internal teams and end users on data usage, data standards, and analytical techniques, promoting data literacy throughout the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in related field (mathematics, statistics, data science, analytics).

Requires four (4) years directly related experience.

Prior project management experience is preferred.

Requires thorough understanding of Data analysis principles.

Advanced proficiency with various MS Office programs. Requires exceptional analytical, communication and project management skills. Excellent organizational, planning and prioritizing skills are required. Knowledgeable of software design methodology, change management and project management tools. Thorough knowledge and understanding of technical concepts, architecture, system development, operations and integration.
