Position Summary
We are looking for a highly organized Insurance Credentialing Assistant to join a U.S.-based dental organization. This is a part-time role with a focus on a 25–30 hour per week schedule. You will play a key role in managing and supporting the insurance credentialing processes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and experienced in dental or medical insurance workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Support insurance credentialing by preparing and submitting required sheets and documentation.
Enter and maintain accurate credentialing data within internal software systems.
Follow up with insurance companies and other external parties as needed to ensure timely completion of requirements.
Collaborate with the internal team to gather required information and documentation for credentialing.
Ensure all records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards.
Qualifications
Prior experience in dental or medical insurance credentialing is a must-have.
Experience as a dental office manager is a strong plus.
Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently while taking direction as needed.
Excellent written and spoken English for internal collaboration and external communication.
