Job Description
The Creative Production Coordinator leads, organizes and delivers multi-discipline creative production projects that support the mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints helping all people come unto Christ. This role spans graphic design, music production, broadcast, film/video, social media and allied creative channels. The post is Christ-centered , global, straightforward, honest & true, hopeful, humble and inspiring — aligned with the Church’s branding and communications values.
Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution Lead the full lifecycle of creative production projects: define scope, develop timelines, assign resources, set milestones, and ensure the successful delivery of assets across multiple disciplines (graphic design, music, broadcast, film, social media).
Production Process Ownership & Administrative Management Own and manage the administrative and operational components of creative production, including contracting, vendor coordination, invoicing, financial tracking, technical specifications, deliverable management, archiving, folder systems, naming conventions, and general administrative support to enable smooth team operations.
Resource & Workflow Management Develop and optimize workflows, manage resource allocation, monitor budgets, identify risks or bottlenecks, and adjust plans proactively to keep projects on time, on budget, and aligned with defined objectives.
Brand & Quality Assurance Ensure all creative outputs adhere to the Church’s visual, audio, and messaging standards — including typography, color palette, imagery, doctrinal integrity, tone, inclusivity, and global relevance.
Cross-Discipline Collaboration & Communication Partner with creative teams and key stakeholders to align on project goals, timelines, and expectations. Serve as the central communication hub by coordinating workflows, providing clear updates, facilitating decisions, and ensuring proactive, organized, and solutions-focused collaboration across all disciplines and offices.
Qualifications
Experience Minimum 4 years of professional project management experience in a creative production environment (agency, newsroom, production studio or comparable setting). It requires a professional track record of managing multi-discipline creative projects.
Skills
Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects across creative domains (design, audio, video, social media).
Excellent communication (written and verbal), stakeholder management and teamwork skills across global or multi-cultural contexts.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., scheduling, budget tracking, asset workflows).
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-discipline creative environment and adapting to evolving priorities.
Creative literacy across visual design, music/audio production, broadcast/video and social media formats — able to partner effectively with specialists in these areas.
Alignment & Travel
Deep understanding of and commitment to the mission and teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Willingness to travel (domestic/international) and work flexible hours when required by project timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Media Production, Communications, Creative Arts or related field.
Experience working in a global communications environment, familiar with localization, multi-language production, or cross-region workflows.
Experience with creative production for broadcast/film and social media at scale.
Familiarity with budgeting, vendor contracts and resource management in creative production contexts.
Working Conditions
Frequent collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors; may require travel (including international) depending on project scope.
Possible work outside standard hours to meet production deadlines or to coordinate across time-zones.
Work spans office, studio, field or broadcast environments depending on project needs.
Consistent adherence to Church standards of professional conduct, confidentiality, and representation of the Church brand.
