This position is ideal for an entrepreneurial leader with strong sales capability, proven P&L responsibility, and experience scaling technology, mobility, or energy-related operations.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipDefine and execute long-term strategy for national network expansion and commercial growth.Lead the evolution from a small organisation into a structured, scalable business.Implement operational frameworks and high-performing processes to support growth.Commercial & Partnership GrowthAct as the commercial face of the organisation, securing high-value partnerships.Engage with municipalities, commercial property owners, private operators, and strategic stakeholders.Drive revenue growth through competitive positioning and strong market relationships.Operational & Financial ManagementFull P&L ownership and responsibility for business performance.Oversee daily operations, especially in early stages with limited support structure.Build and scale the team, ensuring talent and structure align with growth phases.Investor & Board EngagementProvide clear reporting on performance, forecasts, and strategic direction.Build trust and alignment with shareholders and investors.Experience & QualificationsEssentialSenior leadership experience (CEO, Country Manager, Commercial Director, etc.).Proven track record in fast-growth sectors such as mobility, energy, telecoms, infrastructure, or technology.Demonstrated success with P&L management and business performance.Strong commercial background with ability to generate major partnerships.Entrepreneurial profile comfortable building structure in low-support environments.Fluent English; Portuguese is a strong advantage.Lisbon-based or willing to relocate.DesirableExperience in EV charging, energy infrastructure, mobility services, or related fields.Background in scaling startups or leading organisations through transition or acquisition.Personal AttributesHighly driven, commercially hungry, and results-focused.Relationship-builder with strong negotiation skills.Pragmatic, hands-on operator comfortable working without large support teams.Passionate about sustainability and the transition to electric mobility.What’s On OfferLead one of Portugal’s most promising EV charging scale-ups.Full strategic, commercial, and operational ownership.High-impact leadership role with strong long-term growth potential.Attractive package aligned with experience and performance milestones.If this is of interest please apply on LinkedIn or email katie.rafferty@everec.co.uk
