Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Bookkeeper based in Port Macquarie, NSW, with flexibility to work from home. The Bookkeeper will handle day-to-day financial tasks, such as maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and preparing financial reports.
Additionally, responsibilities include reconciling accounts, processing journal entries, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The role demands accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to provide insights through financial analysis. Qualifications Proficiency in Bookkeeping, financial record management, and preparation of Financial StatementsExperience with Accounting Software (MYOB, Xero, QB’s) and processing Journal EntriesKnowledge of Finance concepts and compliance requirementsStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesBachelor's degree or professional certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferredExperience in Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable is advantageous
