The candidate will be part of the Finance Department at ALBtelecom.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Daily recording and controlling the invoices and payments (vendors and clients)
• Reconcile daily/monthly transactions
• Checking the invoices with all the criteria’s
• Bookkeeping and data entries by using the company accounting system;
• Following up suppliers’ and customer accounts;
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and preparation of periodic reports
• Preparation of documents/information needed for VAT, Tax authorities, statistics or other required information
• Preparation of monthly tax declarations, VAT, Withholding tax etc…
• Monthly reconciliation of accounts receivable & accounts payable
• Follow company’s policies and procedures; and meet accounting and financial reporting requirements.
• Assist in monthly closing
• Processing intercompany invoices/transactions/balances;.
Required qualifications and skills:
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economy.
• At least 3 years of work experience in accounting; experience in Telecom company would be an advantage;
• Very good knowledge of accounting procedures & standards (familiarity with IFRS & Albanian tax legislation is preferable);
• Good knowledge of accounting software/systems (experience with SAP would be an advantage);
• Strong PC literacy (very good Excel knowledge);
• Ability to handle large data amounts
• Good communications and relationship skills
• Excellent Analytical Skills and paying attention to details
• Ability to handle pressure and work within strict deadlines;
• Very good written and spoken communication skills in Albanian and English.
