They operate across a number of countries globally. As part of Heineken Beverages, Distell believes it has a major responsibility towards sustainable, responsible and ethical business practices that have the least possible impact on the planet, contribute towards peoples well-being, and uplift the communities that they operate in. In 2021 Distell, Heineken South Africa, and Namibia Breweries joined forces to form Heineken Beverages South Africa. Distell remains the majority shareholder, while Heineken owns a minority stake.
