About the job

Job Responsibilities:

1. Operate & maintain wind turbines and wind farms:

  • Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Conduct regular inspections of wind turbines and troubleshoot issues.
  • Operate electrical measuring instruments and switchgear equipment, conduct electrical and diagnostic tests, carry out predictive inspections and corrective maintenance to ensure the optimal availability and performance of wind turbines
  • Operate and maintain equipment for computer networks and communication protocols, system for monitoring and operation of wind turbines and wind farm substation (SCADA system)
  • Develop turbine performance reports, technical failure analysis reports, and other O&M-related reports.

2. Inventory management & maintenance

  • Manage and organize inventory, specifying, delivering, and maintaining the optimal inventory level for the execution of the work.
  • Prepare inventory for scheduled maintenance.
  • Document the use/consumption of inventory, conduct periodic stock take of on-site inventory;

3. Support on project construction work when needed:

  • Be responsible for the installation of wind turbine units, and control the quality and safety during the installation process;
  • Be responsible for site cable laying and wiring workcontrol the electrical installation process
  • Be responsible for commissioning of wind turbine units;
  • Swiftly respond to issues and conduct troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, software issues as well as component replacement, ensuring the project continuity.
  • Work to the highest HSE standards whilst ensuring that project targets are met.
  • Responsible for turbine acceptance
  • Responsible for the handover work with the service team
  • Responsible for the timely collection, recording and sorting of relevant information and data on site daily work

4. HSE compliance and risk management

  • Conduct hazard identification and risk assessment analysis before conducting O&M work.
  • Ensure compliance with the QHSE requirements on site. Create non-conformity reports where applicable.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of working experience in operation and maintenance of wind farm or energy production industry;
  • Excellent communication and comprehension skills in English is required;
  • Good command of wind turbine mechanical and/or electrical installation process;
  • Familiar with wind turbine commissioning and parts replacement process;
  • Be familiar with mechanical and electrical components of WTG;
  • Be able to perform troubleshooting quickly;
  • Strictly comply with company HSE policy;
  • Be able to quickly respond to and solve problems raised by O&M team
