Web Content Manager - International UK team Location: UK flexible - London office visit roughly once per week. Contract type: Permanent / 35 hours per week Salary: Up to £36,632 (Including inner London weighting of £3,344)

Why this role is important... The International Directorate is responsible for supporting the work of the International Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, and so you'll be helping to make a real difference to people in need, across the globe.

How you'll make a difference...

You'll be taking the lead on managing content for the Cash Hub, cash-hub.org, a vital digital platform which is a global resource for the work of the RCRC Movement to deliver Cash and Voucher Assistance. As the principal Content Manager of the Cash Hub platform, you'll manage and produce compelling content, including relevant learning, resource materials, advocacy messages and ensure that the platform communicates effectively with its audiences. You'll curate and update content for the website and have a unique opportunity to enhance knowledge and learning on Cash and Voucher Assistance in humanitarian action.

What you will be doing...

- Content Management using WordPress

- updates and improvements, making sure it reflects the key priorities and message.

- Ensure website text is accessible, informative and interesting, paying close attention to narrative flow, messaging, accuracy, tone and house style.

- Project manage the translation of resources into different languages, coordinating a team of translators.

- Work closely with the Digital Team to implement functional changes that improve the accessibility of the platform.

- Manage Cash Hub communication activities, including newsletter, social media and blogs, and building a repository of personal testimonies, quotes and images.

- Articulate website Key Performance Indicators and develop a strategy to meet them, including specific activities to collect feedback on user satisfaction. What we are looking for...

- Photoshop, WordPress / HTML Skills - Good analytical skills, using both quantitative and qualitative data, and the ability to interpret information from sources to present to different audiences.

- Proven experience working in a web content management or editing role; and publishing workflows.

- Experience in producing, editing and disseminating multimedia content for online audiences. Closing date for applications is Sunday 13th March at midnight.

Interviews will take place on 21st and 22nd of March.
