We envision to keep delivering consistent results to better serve our clients.This position will be based in our Office in Cayman in a full in person work model.Main ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership for all financial reporting processes across the Group, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.Oversee and guide teams responsible for consolidation, financial closing, and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.Present and communicate financial results to senior leadership, Board of Directors, and external stakeholders, including earnings calls and investor presentations.Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, leveraging technology (Oracle FCCS and other tools) to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, IFRS, auditing standards, and internal accounting policies, establishing a strong control environment.Lead interactions with external and internal auditors, regulators, and other oversight bodies, representing the Group at the highest level.Monitor and interpret new accounting and tax pronouncements, advising executive leadership on their impact and implementing necessary adjustments.Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.Collaborate cross-functionally with business units to align financial reporting with strategic objectives and support decision-making.Act as a key advisor to the CFO and executive committee on financial reporting matters, risk management, and compliance.RequirementsQualified professional accountant with certifications such as CA (SA) or ACCA (US CPA not sufficient for IFRS purposes).Postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.10+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams and complex reporting structures.Proven expertise in IFRS, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and audit management.Strong proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office, and Oracle tools (FCCS).Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, Board members, and external stakeholders.Multilingual: English, Portuguese, Spanish.Track record of strategic thinking, organizational excellence, and driving transformation in financial reporting functions.Diversity:At Patria we do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
